If you wish to complain about our registry services, then please contact domains@darkknight.co.uk. To escalate a complaint please contact support@darkknight.co.uk.

If you wish to raise a complaint about abuse you have received (phishing scams, spam e-mails etc) please contact us at domains@darkknight.co.uk with as much detail as possible. We will investigate your complaint immediately.

If you wish to make a complaint about a service you have received, please submit an email to us at domains@darkknight.co.uk including as much detail as possible. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues within 5 business days. Regarding UK domain registrations, you are also able to make a formal complaint about us as a registrar to Nominet at: https://www.nominet.uk/complaints/

When you register a domain name ending in .uk you enter into a contract with Nominet, you can find Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration at https://www.nominet.uk/go/terms you can also find our agreement with Nominet here.

All domains are renewed on an annual basis. If you do NOT wish to renew a domain, please make sure you contact sales@darkknight.co.uk a minimum of 35 days before your domain expires. Unless requests to the contrary are received, all domains are renewed automatically approximately 30 days before the domain name expires.

If you request that you no longer wish to have your domain name renewed, it will be left to expire, and all services provided regarding that domain name will be suspended in the following manner. The .uk Domain Expiry Lifecycle Your domain goes into a 30 day expiry grace period, after 30 days your domain will be placed into a 60 day Redemption grace period. If you change your mind and still want to retain your domain name, you still can and at the original renewal price during these first two periods. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days your domain will go into a pending delete Grace period of 5 days in this period it cannot be renewed, after the delete Grace period the domain goes through a DROP process where it becomes available for resale from the register and made available for resale through a third-party registrar by Nominet. Darkknight will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name after this happens. Registration and Renewal of a domain name are subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

If you no longer wish Darkknight to provide domain name registration services, please contact domains@darkknight.co.uk. Darkknight will not charge you for transferring a domain to another registrar’s tag.
